Sketch Number 18

Howdy ho all you bloggers! We are back from our two week fantastic Disney Dream Cruise / Universal - Harry Potter vacation. What a great time we had. OMG I can't wait to share the pics! This weeks sketch is based off of the Lux ad. Pretty much it was made for a one picture, but I could certainly see this with more. Enjoy

Cindy made this one by turning the sketch upside down. I love those two candles, really cute, and I love how she intereperted the sketch by using stitching.

Rachel did this layout which I really think all the distressing is fabulous!

This week I did a pretty simple layout of my son pretending to be a Philadelphia Flyer. When we went down to see Toy Story on Ice, they had this display for kids to stand behind, pretty cute.

Love what Ilona did with the border here!

Mars did another fantastic hertiage page with this sketch, love to see the old pictures!

Sketch Number 17

Good morning everyone. I loved this ad when I saw it and knew it would make a great sketch! I added the tree because this ad would be great for all those outdoor photos, but certainly replace it with whatever inspires you this week! I can also envision instead of the circle how about some misting up there?
Don't forget to link up your creations for your chance to win a Scrapbook Express gift certificate.

Rachel did another fabulous layout this week, her take on the sketch is really fantastic.

Here is one I did of my granddaughter.

Here is a cute one from Mars, love the swirls on this one!

I found this web ad and I was inspired to do a double page layout. I don't know about you, but I do pretty many two page layouts. This one will hold five 4x6 and two 4x4 which I love because sometimes you just get those photos that are surrounded by nothing, and it enhances the photos to trim the down a little.

Rachel made this great double layout. I love her take on the sketch this week!

This one I did is from the St. Patricks Day parade in Girardville. Quiet a huge event for a very small PA coal mining town. The town is packed and the parade lasts for hours, while the partying goes on all day!

Here is Ilona's interpertation of the sketch, love those little tool embellishments!

Mars did this fabulous layout (sorry it is late - I was out of the country!)

Sketch Layout 14

This week I chose my son's favorite Disney movie, Toy Story, I tried to find one in English that matched it with no luck. I find that foreign ads seem more suited for scrapbook layouts, and will be having more of them, no doubt! Enjoy!

Rachel made this beauitful layout based on the sketch above.

Check out the cute layout by Ilona.

Sketch layout 13

OK before I say anything I am not endorsing smoking! Just love the ad, and it's possibilites. It's hilarous some of the old ads, my favorite one was one we found in a Life magazine showing motor oil flowing freely in a river, like it was so environmentally OK. LOL Hope you enjoy the sketch!

Rachel did this fabulous one. I love those cute little flowers, and the Basic Grey paper is perfect.

Mars did another great heritage page this week. I love how she used the music sheet and distressed it. Also look at those handsome sailors in the pic, I love looking at the old photos. One of these days I will have to scan and print all my parents old photos.

This on is called Going Green because literally everyone in the town had green on for the St Patty's Day Parade. It was a blast to go to. I used all leftover Basic Gray papers from different sets to make this layout. The peacock feather I added as an afterthought. Thanks for looking!

This week isn't a real ad but a game, sorry about that! LOL. I just loved that it has so many possibilites with adding embellishments that I had to use it. Or if you like them simple then it would work also.

I don't know how these girls do it, but every week their layouts get better and better! Rachel created this fabulous layout. I love how girly it is, love the layered flowers too!

I adore this layout from Ilona, didn't she do a fabulous job with the sketch, Love that fan thing in the upper right of the picture. Really cute!

Mar did this fabulous layout, don't you just love the cluster of flowers on the side and her flower border! Great job!
